Fear of the First Snowfall

I am living in fear, my friends. November 5th is the average first day of snowfall in Wisconsin. And usually by November 14th there is an inch of snow on the ground. Statistically speaking of course. It could be tonight, it could be a month away. But knowing that on average the first snowfall is a mere week away horrifies me.

We've had an insane windstorm this week, which ripped off a huge chunk of the shingles of our roof....and I was afraid Mother Nature would be a complete biotch and add snow to her great offense to us. She better not...or I'm going to go run my car for no reason at all...That will show her.

I feel like it's too soon for snow. I'm not ready. Make it stop! Make it stop!
