I don't know if anyone else has seen this in the news, but their was undercover video taken of the egg factory that supplies McDonald's. I usually don't get worked up about animal rights issues, but seeing those poor chickens made me sick. We have 22 chickens we take care of at our house and even though I think our chickens are annoying, I would never want them treated like that. It's sad to see so much cruelty and then to realize it is all part of making sure consumers get a cheap, easy meal. Ick.
