My thoughts on the Occupy protests:
- Why is everyone freaking out about these protests and not the Tea Party ones? Freedom of Speech is apparently only allowed if you are a right-wing whack job in a red,white, and blue jumper with weird beliefs in birth certificate conspiracies.
- Political commentators are worried that this is a start of class warfare. Surprise? The middle class in the country is dwindling and all efforts to relieve the economic recession are being blocked with self-righteous, elitist blathering. Even the rhetoric that Occupy protestors need to get jobs... spouted by people who have been showered with opportunities. The majority of our people are being crushed, while an influential, wealthy minority tout power.
